Our partnership with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust enables and accelerates the translation of our research findings into benefits for patients, which is central to our vision.
Many of our researchers are 'clinician scientists', which means that as well as carrying out research, they also run NHS clinics and see patients. In this way, there is a positive feedback loop between patients' lived experience and scientists' laboratory work.

Novo Nordisk Research Centre Oxford is an innovative target discovery unit with a focus on identifying novel, game-changing therapies for patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiometabolic diseases.
Working closely with them gives us access to the Novo Nordisk-Oxford Fellowship Programme, as well as on-site expertise in drug target validation.
